What is Raw Food?

Picture

A raw food diet is actually a raw vegan diet that consists of raw organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains.  None of the food that you eat on a raw diet will be heated over 112 degrees or chemically altered from their natural state in any way.  This is to preserve the enzymes in the food, which is the backbone of the entire raw food lifestyle.  You can eat your food whole (like in a salad) or combine raw foods together to make the most amazing and nutritious meals you will ever taste!
